So says the cover of the Spring 2022 issue of We Are: A Magazine of Penn State Philanthropy.

On a side note, Rick Sokolov needs to smile more (page 1). Then again, it is Penn State. 😕

Sokolov thanks us for giving early, often, and in large sums. Well done, everyone. 👏

barren is quoted as saying, “Thanks to you, we have truly become A Greater Penn State for 21st Century Excellence.”

We are greater!

"After an hourlong live show featuring voices from the Penn State community and performances by students from the musical theatre program, the Blue Band and Essence of Joy, President Eric J. Barron announced that the six-year effort had surpassed its goal and raised $2,166,032,798 toward the three imperatives that Barron defined as the top priorities of a modern land-grant institution. Penn State is now one of only 15 universities nationwide to have raised more than $1 billion in three or more campaigns".

Yet, somehow the the tuition rates will continue to rise, the administrative bloat will continue, and the quality metrics will continue to decline - despite Barry's best efforts to get these things under control.

I'm happy, I truly am, that Pennn State is able to raise lots of money. But, I guess that Harvard raising $9bn and Columbia $6bn don't count because those amounts were in one campaign. Good old Larry the Fish and his made up metrics.

Penn State laughs at Harvard and Columbia.

Let me fix this.

”President Bendapudi announces system-wide 20% increase in salaries except for tenured professors, effective immediately”

"Penn State tenured professors take early retirement package, especially the lazy ones. Good ones stick around."

"PSU BOT shiites themselves because they actually hired a leader that won't be their puppet and can think for herself"

"Grand Jury presentment leaked about another long tenured PSU coach to burn it all down again, and new president removed for alleged cover up"

Sorry, bored at work and day dreaming.
