Barron announced that the six-year effort had surpassed its goal and raised $2,166,032,798 toward the three imperatives that Barron defined as the top priorities of a modern land-grant institution. Penn State is now one of only 15 universities nationwide to have raised more than $1 billion in three or more campaigns".

Yet, somehow the the tuition rates will continue to rise, the administrative bloat will continue, and the quality metrics will continue to decline - despite Barry's best efforts to get these things under control.

I'm happy, I truly am, that Pennn State is able to raise lots of money. But, I guess that Harvard raising $9bn and Columbia $6bn don't count because those amounts were in one campaign. Good old Larry the Fish and his made up metrics.
