watching the UMich game, they really slowed them down. a series of turnovers blew the game open, but Rutgers DL handled the UM OL decently.
UM ran for 282 yards and 4 TDs. Their Running Backs alone accounted for 43 for 262.
UM put up 52 points (45 by the offense, 7 by the defense).
Rutgers defense generated 1 sack, and 0 turnovers.
IDK, but that sounds like an odd way to "really slow down" an opponent.
RU is 13th in scoring defense, and 11th in rush defense, in the Big Ten. But, yes, they are better than Indiana, and on par with Maryland, Penn State's most recent opponents (and MSU, who is up next).
