Why does our press keep pressing Manny Diaz about a head coaching position, yet there's Iowa, Michigan, Ohio St. and other DC's across the landscape nearly as or just as good.

How many are former HCs of a historic college football program? Itās a legit question to ask, but heās addressed it. Our media are sh*t stirrers for the most part.

I do not agree. Are we going to pretend that if the press doesn't ask the question that Manny isn't thinking of leaving for head coaching positions? If Manny wants to be a head coach, he simply will not want to stay as the Penn State DC. I want Manny to stay but we cannot ignore that he was the head coach at Miami and wants another shot at being a head coach.
It seems like a good portion of the local/regional press members are fans of other schools. Seems odd to me.
Does he want another shot at HC? I mean, I expect he does but sometimes once someone has been through that, they might decide they prefer being a coordinator. I would think Diaz does want to be a HC again and probably prefers returning to Florida or at least closer to there but maybe he wants to be a DC for a while.

I just do not see a problem with different voices and thoughts. I think Flounders and Jones are happy when Penn State does well. But they are not total homers seeing everything through blue colored glasses and that is ok.
But generally, I love T-Frank, Nate, Fitz and Ryan. I watch their YouTube videos every day and love it. And, yes, there is a feeling that they are Penn State fans doing a job rather than a more objective journalist. They look more for the positive than the negative.
Follow a couple other teams news media and you will see a difference. We have no real homers. Half are 80% negative/indifferent.
But they had 10-12 hit the portal and not take part in the bowl game despite Saban offering for them to be a part of it.
Flounders has hated PSU goin all the way back to his days at the old Easton Express. Jones is a Buckeye PERIOD.
