Another busy day for me, so I'm setting this up in advance. Please use this thread for pre-match, in-match, and post-match discussions about the PSU vs. ASU match.

When: Dec. 21, 8 pm EST

Where: Northwestern Florida State College

PBP: The NFL screwed my schedule by moving this past Sunday's Eagles - WFT game to tonight. As such, I'm out for PBP for the dual. Here's hoping that some of you will step forward and provide some PBP. As a reminder to those that provide PBP, please post the score at the end of each match, as well as the team score after each match.

Thoughts on tonite (please add your ideas guys) :

Bonus and not giving up bonus are key. Key!
On paper 5 to 5.

But that gives them Schultz over Kerk. I like Kerk here! If healthy watch out. He remembers last year. Schultz good don t get me wrong but this is Kerk s opportunity to make a real statement! He s been waiting for this moment. Some mumblings that Seth goes? I hope not. No disrespect to Seth.
Also Parco favored over Beau. At worst this is a toss up. I liked what I saw last nite w Beau. Tough in all positions. Yes still bit tentative in neutral position. More active on his feet. Finish and be confident on your shots! Beau knows…….

Who goes at 125? ( Campbell or Shunk? Too bad Meredith not down at 125) Key will be keep it to a MD. Dec? Courtney good but not Vito . Campbell wrestled nice match vs Teske! It s about style. Coaches will know if Shunk a better matchup .
157? same deal , no bonus and go for it : Negron or Claw? Teemer usually not a bonus machine . I like Negron here but will defer to Cael. Lol TB better positioning ? What style will give Teemer more problems and get in his head? I say Negron but yes Tough call.

165 Edsall shock the world! Pace and aggression. Hand fight , Hard on the head. Be smart! Edsall s chance for a breakthrough moment. This is your chance Creighton! Go get it!

Nick! , CStar! , AB ! know what s needed Let s Go ! Max will be the man again tonite. He s on a mission. Watch out. Like his matchup!!
RBY w a tougher oppt but will show why he s a NC and has climbed a level!

ASU good. Will be tough match but I like where we are going in to it Finally , perspective - A dual in December, the process etc. . Ah , Forget that crap! Let s win!!!!

This match is 5-5 on paper. So where are the best chances at an upset?

Here's how I see it. The best chance for Az St is at 197, but Norfleet will have to take a page from Cardenas and stay off the bottom. I guess McGee could keep it close if he avoids wrestling for most of the match. I don't think RBY will allow him that.

Kerk I think gives us our best shot, he'll just have to pick his spots. Both Bartlett and Edsell have an outside shot if they can keep it close into the 3rd period. Bartlett has been money in OT and Valencia has been known to gas late in matches.

This is ridiculous. No sound, and then you have to listen to a gd commercial. Penn State should be better than this nonsense for nothing but audio.

OMG. UNREAL. Byers going nuts. PSU fans must do better in influencing Stalling….Cael always tells us to yell before matches under bleachers. Let anyone you know to let the Ref know.
