Recently entering the transfer portal, Malachi Nelson has sparked significant interest and speculation. Rumors connecting USC's interest in Kansas State transfer Will Howard shed light on the potential motivations behind the decision of the former five-star recruit to explore new opportunities and seek a fresh start. Meanwhile, Spencer Rattler's departure from South Carolina opens up the quarterback competition with LaNorris Sellers, creating an opportunity for Nelson. Intrigued by how Shane Beamer and his staff revitalized Rattler's career post-Oklahoma, Nelson's camp sees USC as a potentially ideal situation on the opposite coast.

With those five options I don’t see him coming here to compete for a starting spot!
New multi transfer rule might come into play as well. Might as well transfer to G5 where there's a guaranteed starting job, blow up, then transfer against to a P5 power.

I guess now we know why he's transferring...Miller Moss is really good.
Tuned in to watch a bit, saw SoCal’s second score. Qb is decent yes, but mostly what I saw was a stout oline and receivers making plays like they’re supposed to. Our receivers would have found a way to muff both of those big balls in that scoring drive.

I maintain that top shelf *receivers are the key to a successful offense.

I agree. WRs have become more valuable than RBs. I'm excited about Brown. I think he's going to the steal of this class.
