Question 🙋‍♂️ on tickets from someone who has never been there before

Two friends have tickets 🎟 and said that if I went to a meet with them it would be easy to grab a ticket outside before the meet.

My question is ….. are they BSing me or not ?

On one hand I don’t want to go up with them and get stiffed ….. but on the other hand, if I did I could always just go to a bar until they are done

If there is decent wifi, it's possible to do an e-ticket transfer outside as long as the buyer has a Ticketmaster account. However, I don't know if selling e-tickets outside is a thing or not. Maybe people walk around holding their phones in the air? I have no idea. It could more hassle than it's worth.

One of your friends should give you their ticket and volunteer to go grab one at the last minute. I suspect they wouldn't do it which tells you all you need to know.

If the connectivity is even half as bad as it is on football weekends, I’d be nervous to make that transaction.
