I'm glad Hopson is not signing with us. We do not need someone like this; I don't care how talented he is; he is not worth the trouble. That may be a sheep-like thing to say, but any of y'all that have paid attention to my posts know that I'm anything but a sheep.

I say we can find a good, solid player to take Hopson's spot and when you combine that recruit with Osby and Bost, we'll be fine.

<span style="font-size: small; font-family: trebuchetms, geneva;">I wish Veazey would have put down his pen and notepad, taken off his journalist hat, and said, "Yes you do, Scotty... Remember Mississippi State? Rick Stansbury would beg to differ."

That is the Quote Of The Week. Sure he's only in high school, and I don't make a habit out of calling out high school players, but damn.

Those guys in the Washington DC press corps will grill someone unmercifully. The local reporters, whether in sports or politics, just won't do that. I mean, when someone just says something which is so obviously a lie, a reporter should call them on it. Hell, it sells more papers to do that!

over the past 18 months. He was bad when he started, but he seems like he's worked hard and has gotten to the point where he's a pretty good beat writer.

My point was as long as he works for the CL don't expect him to call out recruits when they obviously lie, it isn't going to happen.
