Anything can happen in these regionals. Not the worst draw in the world.
I hope we have a nice showing in Raleigh. On the UNC board before the final teams were announced today, the fans of UNC were saying buy up tickets because they thought we would be in the Chapel Hill regional.
If there is one thing that schools in NC have learned, is that if playing the Gamecocks you better buy those tickets cause if you don't............Game..........Cocks..............Game.........Cocks!!!! will be heard all over the stadium.
I went back and looked at the thread and they are now still saying the same thing. If we don't buy up all our tickets, LSU fans will!!!!

Just glad we made it and can talk about baseball and football instead of BB for a while
A little FYI on Friday's regional game. It is being televised on ESPN+. So that means you have to have a subscription to ESPN+ streaming service to watch it.
Strategy wise, if we want to get past NCSU, we can't use our "best" pitching on Friday. We need to use guys in short bursts and just outscore JMU.
Marlatt, McCreery, Dean, and Copper should be able to beat JMU.

Lack of pitching will be our downfall in post season.
And poor defense backing them up doesn't help.
We do not have poor defense. We have abysmal defense not worthy of NAIA level.
