He left before Leach died. He was too cool for school from the beginning. That was Spurrier Jr that convinced him to come here over South Carolina initially.Maybe, just maybe he saw the writing on the wall and made the right decision?

Same song different verse. When you had 6-8 receivers every game with catches in the Air Raid with an average of 6 yds per catch the grass always looks greener on another teamHe left before Leach died.
I figure that he thought the he was not getting to showcase his talents.Same song

He had an attitude problem, and obviously so did Tulu to an extent. It’s all becoming pretty clear. Leach’s offense is meant to be plug and play with average talent, so if you’re a selfish mfer, you likely won’t be happy.Same song

How many other successful NFL Air Raid receivers can you name?He had an attitude problem, and obviously so did Tulu to an extent. It’s all becoming pretty clear. Leach’s offense is meant to be plug and play with average talent, so if you’re a selfish mfer, you likely won’t be happy.
But Michael Crabtree shows you that NFL level guys with a good attitude can do well.
Doesn’t matter. Same with QBs. The point of the offense is to be niche so you can succeed with lesser players. How many other successful NFL Air Raid receivers can you name?

This. And Leach would most likely have us 5-1 right now.Michael crabtree, welker, , but it doesn’t really apply because leach coached at college outposts , the underdog programs that didn’t have money and couldn’t get talent and still won
he went 9-4 last year with mostly these same players and they were a good team. Lmao

This is why someone exactly like a Leach was perfect for us as we enter this new landscape of NIL money being spent on recruits, current players, and transfers. We are near the bottom in the SEC in what we spend, so a coach with a “niche” or unique system is what we need here, wether it be on the ground or in the air. Our current head coach made changes on both sides of the ball not realizing who we are. Sure if you’re in the top tier of the SEC in NIL money being spent, Barbay’s scheme works. Not here.Doesn’t matter. Same with QBs. The point of the offense is to be niche so you can succeed with lesser players.
