I mean, he said he would have to be a top 3 round pick...and then he said it would take 600,000 to sign him. Way to go Dixon

Don't blame him. Smart move. If you are that talented, get the big signing bonus, play a couple of years, then come back to college football.

I think he made the right decision for his situation, and no one in the world deserves to have their kid make it big more than Velma.

Good luck to Rashun.. I hope he has a great career.

From afar it looked like a monkey effing a football reading the b.s. he spouted in the press. Did he even have an agent?</p>

Dixon was pick 304

Pick 299 and 301 got 65,000. Pick 302 got 150,000. Pick 305, 306, and 308 all got 75,000.

No way he got in the neighborhood of 600,000. Especially from the A's who gave their ninth round pick 75,000. He may have gotten 65,000. Maybe he had his decimals off during his demands.

aint diddley squat. He'll have a long road in front of him to make it to the bigs. Most 304 round picks never do. He may still wind up playing football at MSU or somewhere in a couple of years.
