Gives the defense a huge advantage. Most teams now even in the NFL has a QB that can move the chain with his legs.

There was a lot that went wrong in this game. Almost nothing went right. Rattler is the the thing that went right. Nobody with a brain cell could possibly blame Rattler for anything that happened last night. The OL line didn’t break down, it never even started. What Rattler did was amazing for the protection he had. Not his fault. Sure there’s a play here and there….but u can put this one on the oline period.
Agreed but in his defense, he would throw 95% of the balls away if he didn't hang in the pocket and try to make something happen. He had zero time.Rattler played well. What he will need to improve on for the NFL is throwing it away to avoid the sack.
I think he got better as the game went on. Early on he could have taken off for some pretty big yards but he didn't. That started to change somewhat in the second half. I think he was just as shocked at the line's collapse as the rest of us.Gives the defense a huge advantage. Most teams now even in the NFL has a QB that can move the chain with his legs.

UNC did a great job of totally collapsing the pocket. There was nowhere for Rattler to go. The result of THAT game is simple. They destroyed our line of scrimmage offensively and defensively
Giant LOL all you want to. I said Rattler played very well. I don’t care how fast a pocket collapses, the NFL will expect him to unload the ball and to not take 9 sacks. Rattler has a strong enough arm to throw it 10 yards over the head of a receiver on the sideline.lol
Our OL did not break down so much as it instantly collapsed like wet crepe paper. It offered absolutely no resistance at all.
And, another giant lol to the “he needs to throw it away to avoid sacks.” Stupid. The majority of the sacks last night he had no chance on. It would’ve been a miracle if he could’ve thrown the ball away. Besides that he avoided numerous other potential sacks.
He probably would throw it away if there was an inch of an escape route. Got to be outside the tackles and Lord knows there was no way to get there much of the timeRattler played well. What he will need to improve on for the NFL is throwing it away to avoid the sack.
Yes, he played remarkably well. On top of that, he kept his composure and never got frustrated. It was a fantastic performance.Rattler played probably the best QB performance relative to an all time terrible OLine performance in SC history. We have never had a QB capable of playing better under the circumstances.
Start the 4 Star freshmen and let them develop. Tired of sloth footed lineman who put forth what appears to be lackluster effort.I think he got better as the game went on. It is so disappointing to be back in this situation (poor line play) so quickly after improving last year. smdh
He is the one and only reason we were not thoroughly skunkedHe probably would throw it away if there was an inch of an escape route. Got to be outside the tackles and Lord knows there was no way to get there much of the time
