Not great but for a rookie with one week of work with the first team under his belt, I think he did pretty well.

His first quarter was great. First half, pretty darn good. (That's all I watched) I heard that it appeared as though TB made some halftime adjustments and pressured him a little more in H2, so he struggled a little. But yeah, overall, and solid performance, especially being a rookie's 1st NFL start. I can't stand the Saints, but was happy to see SR out there, playing well!
Yes. TB got after him more in the second half and his performance suffered. I was thinking they might pull him for Haener but was pleased they didn't. Will be interesting to see if they stick with Rattler going forward. The Saints defense didn't help either. TB scored at will.
Struggled a little??? . . . Rattler stunk it up, particularly in the second half. Of course, if he had a decent OL he may have avoided a couple of sacks (5). And the play calling was atrocious! Their coaches are terrible. Horrible. Even Rex Ryan could do better.
Maybe Rattler needs glasses ‘cause he sure missed open receivers left and right. “Happy Feet Rattler!” Lol. What a wasted pick by the Saints. /s

Worth noting none of the New Orleans publications are putting the loss on Rattler. One headline after the game said "Saints have 99 problems, QB isn't one of them."
Note: If you didn’t catch it, there is a “/s” at the end of my first two paragraphs on Rattler. Also known as sarcasm.
Frankly, I’m tired of the negativity. If it’s not the OL, coaching, WR’s, it’s the QB play.
Sellers is young. We all know that. He’s also talented. However, some on here are too willing to pile on Sellers even though they know he’s learning as he plays. And he’s not playing in the Peewee league (aka, EZZ), he’s going up against top-ranked opponents in the premiere football league almost every week.
But back to Rattler. He’s defended and praised for what? Being a rookie in the NFL who didn’t have a butt fumble in his game? We even have a thread that‘s titled “Sellers has more turnovers than TD’s.” Guess what? So does Rattler in the NFL. So, why does he get a pass?
Look, I know you’re throwing anything you can against the wall to see if it will stick on this site but reconsider the implications. You’re beginning to side with Klempson fans. That’s as low as it gets. Especially when their trolls like your posts.
Right, you did. You also give him a pass on how he played while condemning Sellers, who is in a similar position playing as a freshman against SEC caliber opponents.
As to negativity, you spout it all the time about the Gamecocks. If it’s not about the coaches, it’s about the OL, or the WR’s, or the QB’s, or the defense. To the point where Klempson fans/trolls like your posts. As I said, that’s as low as you can get.

You seem quite keen on keeping up with what I say, and while I find that flattering (I really do), you're not paying attention. When we do things well, I say so. If you were around after the UK game, you would know that. When we don't do things well, I say so.
Sellers turns the ball over a lot. It's just a fact. There's no merit in pretending it's not a liability. If you'd been around, you'd also know there were few, if any, posters on this forum who were higher on Sellers coming into the season than I was.
Contrary to what you might you think, you're not the Gamecock Superfan.
And, FWIW, it’s obviously important to you who likes your posts but there could not be anything in this universe that I care less about.
