I think he has a year of eligibility left, but I will be shocked if he stays another season. He is probably going to the NFL, XFL or CFL.
Regardless of what he decides- Rattler will go down as one of my all time favorite QBs who played here.

Why does this site accept Clemson fans? Why accept a person who joins the day after CU wins and goes by “Beamersits2peepee?” Tiger Net does not allow Carolina fans. Just curious why we accept their fans.
Nope, Seller’s is a stud so not worried there. Rattler can come back. Assuming he’ll go right to edge to judge his stock before jumping to the pros. Don’t know if another season with us does him any good, he should move on. If he does come back, lucky for us, kid is a baller. We would have lost more games without him.
I think we will be good at QB with Sellers. So probably no need to recruit the portal for a starting QB imo

I haven't seen Sellers play or his film. I know Rattler was a stud and will be hard to replace. You have some dudes for your OL coming in this class though. They'll be interesting to see

I don’t see us going after any portal QBs. I think the staff is sold on Sellers. Hard to fault them. Seems like every time the guy has stepped on the field it’s either a TD or explosive play.
Reno has a ton of potential too. If we do pick up a portal QB it would probably be a grad transfer guy just to add depth and experience.
A couple of plays from this year. Also had a perfect back shoulder TD to Harbor. Muschamp ignored the OL. Beamer has had to start from scratch.

That was a beautiful ball. Who was that receiver? My son was a receiver at Northwestern in Rock Hill and played with a kid that committed to y'all. I hated that Clemson didn't recruit him, Elijah Caldwell I think. He progressing any?

Yeah, that's him. We had some good reports coming out of spring camp on him. Good looking player, just needs to continue developing. I think he'll get a shot next year.
All that's telling me is that Beamer has been ineffective in the portal when it comes to the OL.
My memory is admittedly fuzzy, but we had better OL's under Muschamp, right? Didn't we have a back lead the SEC in rushing one year?
I'm not sold on using Muschamp as an excuse for this.
You should know that every shortcoming in Carolina football is the fault of the previous coach. The same coach who was lauded at the beginning of his last season as the "right guy to get us there, he just needs time to get his players and system in place". When Beamer is gone, he will suddenly be the worst coach in the history of college football.
Just like politics. Folks who don't like a coach will credit all his success to the previous coach's player and all his failures to him. Folks who do like a coach will blame all his failures on the previous coach and credit him for of his success.
They were better than this year's, yeah. But they weren't good by any stretch. Technically yes, Kevin Harris lead the SEC in rushing yds/game during the COVID year.
I wouldn't disagree, but had he known he would have 12 guys go down he probably would have been more urgent about it.
Yeah, I would agree he could have done better in the portal. Nick G has been pretty good. But Fugar was a whiff. I'm sure they were enamored with his size and thought he had time to develop. But as it worked out, he was thrown right into the fire.
