NESN footage from mlb.com

Coco Crisp got his *** beat by the Rays' 25-man roster --- serves him right. Also, what is up with Youkilis and Manny having to be separated in the dugout? Two very physical games in Boston tonight.

He deserved to get throttled. That "slide" last night was the dirtiest I've ever seen in baseball.

Carl Crawford got a lot of sucker punches in while the guy was on the ground. Johny Gomes and Iwamura are probably going to get fined and Gomes probably will definately get suspended because he got the best shots in.

there will be about 7 suspensions for the Rays while coco will be the only one suspended for a considerable amount of time... The rays gang raped him. I'm sorry, but I'm old school and that slide last night was good, hard baseball. No wonder everybody else looks at baseball players as a bunch of *****. Also, I love brawls... they're good for the sport.

That slide was the complete opposite of good, hard baseball. He slid a foot away from the shortstop's foot and dove right into his knee. The brawl was awesome, though.

They were up 6-1 and he slid into second and pretty much missed the bag to slide into the 2nd basemen. He deserved everything he got coming to him.

As a Yankees fan I loved the game last night. The Rays will have a handful of people suspended and the Sox will lose Crisp as well not to mention Ellsbury and Manny got hurt and we all got to see You and manny get into it in the dugout. Top all of that off with a walk off HR by Giambi and it was a great day of baseball

when he was charging the mound. Thats pretty tough to do when you are running like that.

They showed Crisp attempting to steal a base, and the Rays guy was all over the bag and Crisp was called out b/c he couldn't touch the bag. So what happens??? Next time he comes in hard and teaches the guy a lesson... That is baseball... He knew coming into that game he would eventually get thrown at... The whole thing was messy, but I enjoyed watching...

I bet it was a good day for you, coming back to beat the Blue Jays to stay out of last place in the division. The kind of stakes the Yankees should come to grips with. Meanwhile, the Rays have totally swapped positions with the Yankees as a competitior for the East. Yeay. I hope I get to continue to watch the Yankees pile on Giambi for bailing them out of last place every now and then.

P.S. Johnny Gomes is a *****.

Just remember, this time last year the Yankees were 12.5 back. Not so bad this year and they are finally getting healthy. Hopefully they are getting ready to get things going

I try and remember that as often as possible. It was hilarious.

If you cover the bag like that, you better believe I'm going to teach you to get off it. That should have been the end of it. Tagging him at the plate was asking for a mound charge. It's too bad half the Ray's roster got to gang-bang him, but I guess that's what happens when you clock a pitcher.

After that, there seemed to be a little too much testosterone in the RedSox dugout.

he got taken down and a couple of beotches tried to get in some sucker punches while he was being held down.. nothing really landed cleanly. Gomes is a punk. That was the worst ***** move since Carmelo Anthony sucker punched that cat and then hauled *** back toward his bench.

Clock a pitcher? He threw a glancing blow off Shields shoulder. Crisp is lucky Shields didn't land that haymaker he threw.

And it wasn't a clean slide by Crisp. If he would have been breaking up two, it would have been clean. He was stealing 2nd.

Next time he comes in hard and teaches the guy a lesson
The only problem with that is it wasn't the right guy. It was the shortstop (Bartlett) who blocked the bag in the 6th inning. It was the second baseman (Iwamura) he tried to take out in the 8th inning.
