that is the only difference between my ID and my wife’s ID. Everything else is exactly the same including the holograms. what a money grab. Good thing I have a passport ID card.

Yeah, basically the new star is saying you've been verified as a real American. According to the DMV who makes millions by selling our information anyway. So now the DMV has pretty much everything they need to sell your identity now.
Seriously, look up how much SCDMV made by selling certain parts of our information.
Don't worry, you won't need an ID to vote...
Getting Read ID, you need SS#, Birth Certificate, water bill to prove who you are to fly or go into a government building. Other than that, they want to know who you are to track your movement, including your bowl movements.
Facebook/ Meta will pay for it. Its a cash cow. $$$$$$$
I was one day late on getting mine without having to do the eye exam. This was about 1-2 years ago.I never went back.I won’t pass the test so no need.
If my mother-in-law can get one with bad eyes, then I think you could pass the exam.
I dont know,it took me 3-4 try’s the last time I went to get my license and that was close to 10 years ago.when they went to the 10 year license,I went to the eye doctor and knew what I wanted before I could say anything when I handed him the reminder card u get in the mail.i got about 5 more years till they renew again.I was hoping to get lasik.
