I've said and stand by, Lemo has favorites and plays them, is afraid to move them around or demote them to the bench or even down in the order. I think was a large problem with the team last season. He's played Forsythe to a fault this year, hopefully that is over! Now its Luke Hancock.

Recruited to be a catcher, obviously has shown to be below average back there, so we just plant him at 1b (the biggest offensive position on the field), and keep him in there every game. OK if thats what you want to do because we have no one else fine.. but why 5th???????

How can Luke hit 5th and Clark hit 7th?? Makes zero sense and again cant be justified. (Stats below) Its just a matter of time before people start walking jordan to get to hancock. A move needs to be made.

This season:
Clark:
975 ops, 9 doubles, 9 homers, 22 rbi, 21 walks, 27 K
Hancock
955 ops, 11 doubles, 3 homers, 29 rbi, 35 walks, 15 K

BUT in conference play:
Clark
1100 ops, 5 doubles, 4 homers, 10 rbi, 9 walks, 12 k
Hancock
705 ops, 2 doubles, 1 homer, 6 rbi, 8 walks, 7 k

The majority of Hancock's OPS comes from walks, SEC teams dont walk him, and his stats are the result of this. There is absolutley no way Hancock should hit anything other than 7-8-9 the rest of the season. Actually 8-9, but our lineup isnt good enough to put him that far down.

If you want to span it out to career numbers: Clark is 920 ops, 30 doubles, 29 homers.. Hancock in an extra year has a 820 OPS, 30 doubles, 20 homers.

Clark is the superior hitter any way you want to measure it, and projects a profile of a middle of the order bat. This isnt that hard to figure out. Yet lemonis continues to 1) play hancock and 2) refuses to hit him farther down in the order
