^^^ This. Fries are hard to find that are above "fast-food" level, but these choices are solid.The Field (Toftrees) has excellent fresh fries, and State Burger Co. in downtown Bellefonte has the same as well. The sweet potato fries at the Field are excellent as well.

here's why!! ask McDonalds.......Fries. Tgar just returned from 10 days in Scotland where fries are treated like a religion. Everyone there makes fresh cut, hot delicious fries ( referred to as chips )

Argentina? Incredible, papas fritas everywhere.
Heck, even in Meh He Co one can find excellent fries, hot, salty, perfect texture after a quick bath in clean fresh hot oil.

So, Tgar does on occasion enjoy vinegar with his fries. In all the restaurants we dined in, vinegar was only on the table a couple of places. When we asked for ketchup, more often than not we were served Heinz as well. Or those reading there’s thread that consider themselves foodies, Scotland is a hidden gem.And be a native Scot and eat them with salt & vinegar

There was ( probably still is ) a concession vendor in Hershey at the stadium that sold / sells excellent fries with salt and vinegar. Cannot remember the name but very solid fries game. Many country fairs have at least one stand making solid fries.
