Don't be jealous, this is pretty good by government standards since loads of money is spent and little to nothing is achieved.

The good news is you're likely to become a Board Moderator before you obtain a REAL ID (unless Tom Mc uses such pre-screened status to award moderator privileges)

Have my REAL ID…..but am not (sigh!) a REAL Board Moderator.

But was given the job to set up a Sat PSU game thread earlier this season. Regrettably (sigh! sigh!) was never asked to do so a second time.

So a government that can't figure out something as simple as REAL ID is supposed to be the same government that planned the pandemic ( I love pointing to things like this when the wing nut conspiracy theorists start talking)

Harry F Kellogg invented the wing nut and filed the patent in the US on January 6, 1927. The patent application was granted on August 19, 1930. Harry also invented the wing screw for his company, Central Screw Company of Chicago, Illinois.

A lot of people, my mom included, do not have passports. In the past she could visit Mexico, Canada, places in the Caribbean w/o one. She has no desire to travel to those places now. And no desire to go through the steps to get a REAL-ID. But I worry if she ever has to fly (from AZ) to one of her kids sick beds - if a passport/READ ID is required.

May I respectfully suggest that your chances of becoming a moderator would be enhanced if you attended the Fairgambit Worldwide Moderator School? Our entrance fees are quite high ($100,000 in small, unmarked bills, or a date with Diane Lane), and our entrance requirements are quite low (grade school diploma or equivalent), but we go back a long way ILLINOIS, and so I am willing to waive the entrance requirements and double the fee (200K, or dates with Diane Lane and Elisabeth Shue). Don't delay! Only a few spaces remain in our class of 2035!

Actual class at FWMS.

So REAL ID implementation has now been moved back to May 7, 2025!

OMG - This is taking longer than a Big 2(12)(2) football booth review of an incorrect call on the field! 🤭
my understanding is that presently real id requires US citizenship credentials. the democrats need more time figure out how to allow illegal immigrants to board airflights
