It's a Pat Patterson video interview that was done in the past couple of days. He always mentions MSU first in every question. Yancy asks him about how Ole Miss is doing with him and all of the sudden the audio feed goes out and exactly when he gets through talking about Ole Miss, Yancy asks about Auburn and the audio feed comes back on. Am I thinking black helicopters on this one? I've watched it 3 times just to see it it was my computer or bandwith or something. Its strange.

See for yourself:

A poster asked Yancy what was said during the part about OM. He replied that Patterson said he just didn't know a whole lot about OM, therefore he didn't have much to say about them like he did USM & MSU.

Yet he tells his posters that everything is ok and UM will be there in the end. I guess.

Well, it is only May, and while it does pay to get on a player early in the process, you also stand to make up a lot of ground if and when you do start making a push. If a guy hasn't gotten to know your coaches and hasn't been to your campus much, things can change when he does get to visit your campus and does get to know your coaches. We had that happen a lot to us under Orgeron. He'd always get a lot of attention from guys early in the process and would often get early commits from players because he would be the first to contact them and the first to pursuit them. Then, when other schools joined in and when they started taking other visits, they would often change their minds after seeing what else was out there.

The reason I say that is it can work the same way even if you're the last to make contact.
