No, I don't have any expectation we'll win this game. I'd expect Cook will have a career day, much as Mertz and Rogers have done.

If there's a reason to hope, it's that 4 of their 6 wins have come against South Dakota, MTSU (4-point win), Memphis and Vandy. They did beat K-State, but they aren't nearly as good as they were thought to be at the time.
That's about all I got.

They are scoring 33,7 ppg and we are allowing 33.4 ppg. They are throwing for 318 ypg and we are allowing 337 passing ypg. Looks like a total mismatch on paper.

I'm not trying to throw shade on you personally, but before every game we start to hear "our next opponent is really not that good, and we should win because....."
It's the ultimate self deception every week.

No offense taken, but what other hope do we have at this point???

The advantage of our brutal opening schedule is that we're battle-hardened while our opponents have not had to prove themselves. Supposedly.

Hoping for another Beamer Season Saving Miracle is about all we got!
Mystery DC where are you?

Hey, last year we responded to horrific defeat at the hands of UF by obliterating top 10 UT. This loss to UF was every bit as horrific. Maybe history repeats itself somewhat? Maybe?

Thing is maybe unc and Georgia were the only good teams we've played. And unc might be a stretch.

Can we call up Satterfield and fire him mid season like we did last year?

At 2-4 maybe we are back into that coveted "being overlooked" zone we have come to rely on.

Some things will never change.

We have a hard schedule. We recruit players based on playing time. We only lose because the refs don’t call offensive holding on the other team. And so on.

Lather, rinse, repeat.
