Blood lines aren't everything and have been known to pass some folks by. And if that doesn't get you, the pressure does.
Mike Ferrell thought Connor Mitch would be the best QB Spurrier ever had here.
So disappointing. Nerves must have gotten him. USC hasn't had a great QB since Shaw/Dylan.
Dylan was a leader, not a great QB. He had 1 good game. He will be a legend at SC tho.
Arch definitely gets the benefit of his surname. It's so hard to tell if a high school QB will be as good after high school. Remember when Ron Powlus was supposed to win two Heismans?
And what's the barometer for him being a successful QB? Is it Super Bowl champ like his uncles or bust? If he were as good as say, Major Applewhite, is that a successful career at UT? Major was offensive POY in the Big 12 - is that still too low for someone with this kind of hype?

I don’t think he’s a 3* if his name was something else but I also don’t think he’s the best QB in this class. Maybe 3rd or 4th. He got that ranking because of his name and knowing that he has the potential and resources to be good player later down the line. It’s not an right now ranking but more so a projection ranking imo.
