Now, more than ever, an unprecedented amount of xfer/opt-outs has savaged teams. This is a huge help (for now).

Even Luke could take some snaps if needed.

I agree with a reporter's take that bowl games are exhibition games and that is why they shouldn't count toward a player's redshirt eligibility. With the transfer portal and opt-outs, teams are playing short handed

Rules are just "blowing in the wind" these days. And we never know which way the wind is blowing. :)
NCAA has no choice bc everyone is losing players. Bowls outside the CFP are no longer the last game of the season. They are the exhibition game of the next season.
