I was surprised when I saw that, been keeping up with the AL race but not the NL. Didn't realize the Reds were battling for the wildcard. There are MSU players sprinkled all over these teams competing for the playoffs.

Reds are fading. Lots of rookies and lots of players on IR. Their GM wouldn’t make a move at the deadline and that cost them. Picking up Renfroe and Bader is a last ditch effort to right the ship. Think it may be too late.

If Renfro would’ve ever learned to hit some to the opposite field he’d have been a much better hitter. Of course, this can be said for a TON of MLB players. Way,
