And just like that, A&M’s national championship & playoff hopes evaporate in 5 quarters.
I don’t know if a 9-3 team can make the playoffs. But if they can beat Missouri & Clemson, South Carolina might have a chance.
It doesn't matter who's playing. They're always good for one really good game at night in Columbia. However, that doesn't make me like them much. I have a hard time finding anything I like about South Carolina.

Besides Mizzou, any SEC team with 2 losses or less when all the dust settles will be in the playoff. Book it.

Indiana is 9-0, blew out Michigan State and I’m seriously starting to think they may beat Ohio State. if they do that....
Michigan St is pretty bad. Their a schedule is garbage. That Ohio St game will be their only game vs a ranked team all year. I wouldn’t be surprised if the drop the Michigan game next week too.
Indiana is winning in impressive fashion, I think they are for real. I don’t know if they can beat Ohio State, but if they do....
ETA Cignetti won’t be there next year, Akansays, Michigan, Florida there will be a long list of schools contacting him.

I kind of doubt it. He’s 63 and all those schools will want someone who’ll be there potentially for the long haul— let’s say, 8 years.

I think he wouldn’t and they would not either.
If he goes 12-0/11-1 he will get plenty of offers imo. What hes done is incredible.

South Carolina is pretty good. I did not see that defense being the monster that it is or their offense putting up 44 on ags.
I base my opinion on his past seasons and watching them this year not even show up against Northern MS when they were 3-1 and had them at home and then fold like a cheap tent against AL when they had them beat. He seems to always have a team on the verge of being good then they always end up mediocre
Yea I don’t like Beamer, he comes off like a bad used car salesman but I’m just saying South Carolina is pretty good this year, team improved a lot since the start of the season. he’s off the hot seat.
There are a lot of coaches that I don’t like. But I don’t care about liking a coach as long as he’s winning and his methods are effective and ethical.
Agree, personality really doesn’t matter if he’s good. I’m not sold Beamer is good but you can’t argue with the defense he put together or their offense is looking pretty good with Sellers.
Right now, I’m willing to compromise a bit on the ethical part.
I’ve seen more than one Hokie fan friend say in social media that they wouldn’t mind having Shane as their coach…
