Preferred of the three? If another choice and version not listed, comment below.
It's vaguely effeminate. And also looks like we're trying to mimic the Ole Miss script.I don't hate the State script as much as some, but there's something about it on a football helmet that I for sure don't like
Chillbilly’s version is awesome. Since I first ever saw it, it’s my favorite and would be my number one choice for sure. In fact I’d go further and say that’s the logo we should have already put everywhere and gone more all in with.Chillbilly's version of the "baseball" stacked MS logo. It's way bigger on the helmet, like UNC's NC.
The one time we rolled a version of this out for a Kentucky game, the MS was too small. In other words, we didn't give it a good faith try.
86-95 is probably what you’re referring too.None of those years are the MSJ
Yes. Thats the MSJ. 96-03 is the “Nike” logo86-95 is probably what you’re referring too.
Totally agree. People lament that we don't have any tradition, etc. We already have it. We've had it for forty or fifty years. For some dumb reason, we've always seemed to shy away from using it for football. Everybody in the country knows that logo.Chillbilly’s version is awesome. That or as someone said above the 1980 MSUPretty much any logo would be an improvement over the current one. I voted my personal favorite M-State. But we really should just go back to the interlocking MSU. that’s the one the fans want. And there is a lot of tradition there.
Yep. The people have pretty much spoken, when it comes to the helmet. And I’m fine with that.Pretty much any logo would be an improvement over the current one. I voted my personal favorite M-State. I’d say whichever one is the helmet logo. Be consistent. Just not &tate.Yep. The people have pretty much spoken, when it comes to the helmet. And I’m fine with that.
Now, the question goes back to which logo should be on the 50-yard line, mid-court, by our name on TV, etc., wherever our presence is. And there’s only one answer to that - the M State….our official university logo.
Once again, common sense is not so common. It’s been literally set up on a tee for you like you said for fifty years. For whatever reason, sometimes people overthink things.Totally agree. Perfect! I can imagine it. It’s too obvious and easily the perfect thing to do. So that means our leaders would never do it lol.Imagine the Chillbilly version helmet paired with a plain block STATE above the front jersey number
We agree a lot but I’m in the opinion that we should use M State for those things in My previous post. Wear whatever we want on the uniforms. I say keep consistency with our overall logo.Once again, common sense is not so common. It’s been literally set up on a tee for you like you said for fifty years. This is the big reason I personally want the M-State logo. We spent over 20 years building that brand & just threw it away. SilverThis from Hail State Unis.
We'll do it again and again and again. We don't learn. This is the big reason I personally want the M-State logo. We spent over 20 years building that brand & just threw it away. Stupid.
They are just the vehicles, and they are thrilled to just have something new and unique to them. But make no mistake, this stuff is coming from the top.I don't think two guys (current AD and HC) that did not attend MSU should be the ones deciding the script is the way our university should be represented in football. The script is weak and looks out of place, just like our DL.
I liked those, but I feel like MS became synonymous with multiple sclerosis around that time period
The first one I remember. My brother and I got helmets for Christmas (mine was white because they couldn't find a larger maroon one) My Dad sat and cut the MS letters out from a sticker and put them on the helmet.
I'll say the name for you..... Brian Hadad. Now he is on Twitter complaining about the uniform for this weekend. Never happy.Somebody was on a podcast constantly b*tching about the logo and crying for State script. Now that they have initiated a change people are demanding the interlocking logo. With all the crying about the helmet logos I say put the number on the helmet and nothing else. 17 it. We got bigger fish to fry than being pissy about the uniforms and helmets. Let's try to be more concerned about the play and less concerned about the gold piping for Christ's sake. This ain't a VS runway show
I think it is as simple as Adidas told our leaders that we didn't sell enough merchandise. Therefore they came up with a plan to spark more sales. They are just the vehicles, and they are thrilled to just have something new and unique to them. But make no mistake, this stuff is coming from the top.
You know what I think it is? I think they got in their feels after the natty, and decided to roll with that logo because it was on the baseball jersey. And enough people were bltching about the M-State on the helmet. And then folks whining about leaning into 'STATE', which in theory is a good idea.
But in true Miss Stake small-minded fashion, we go about it the most backwards asss way possible. We torch a 25-year old official school logo for the worst one possible.
It's fine for merch. Use as many logos as you want. I don't even really care about the helmets.I think it is as simple as Adidas told our leaders that we didn't sell enough merchandise. Therefore they came up with a plan to spark more sales.
Our enemy has always come from within. There's something wrong inside our fanbase, especially the football side.I'll say the name for you..... Brian Hadad. Now he is on Twitter complaining about the uniform for this weekend. Never happy.
