In honor of the NCAA Baseball Tournament, I wanted to take a second to tell the story of one of my favorite moments in tournament history.
The MLB record is four by the Brewers: Eddie Matthews, Hank Aaron, Joe Adcock and Frank Thomas. Joe Torre grounded out to end the inning. That's a different Frank Thomas than the one who later played for the White Sox.
We seem to have a lot of wasted wins in our men's sports over the years. The 5 homers were nice but UGA went to the CWS. FM upsets UK and we don't make the tourney. Mooch upsets UGA and we end up what 4-7 that year?
