Shabbat Shalom
Thank you Mr. Potter,
A Great Classic

My childhood & teen rituals during Lent..attending the 40 hr devotions, fasting and abstance, Stations of the Cross every Friday during lent,
The Ten Commandments was a wonderful movie I always looked forward to watching. Back then, with only four stations to choose, the opportunity to watch the movie on tv was infrequent.
I can also rent it Prime for $3
Thanks again.

Where is the most important one? Never drive below the speed limit in the left lane, with cars passing you on the right!
It’s maddening. I actually got in trouble with my wife on a recent trip when I snapped at her to move to middle lane because there was a car bearing down on her in the left lane in the interstate. She snapped back, “I’m already going 78!”. I returned, “But he wants to 90 so move over and let him pass!”
Few hours of quiet ensued (albeit, with a driver change).

One of the great lines on the old board was, “My wife lets me steer the car.”

I wish they would show it more on non-commercial tv. I was looking and it is wild to think that Edward G. Robinson was born in 1893 and continued to work into the 1970's. A lot of greats in that cast.

I would like to see Jesus Of Nazareth on TV like they used to , like Hollywood pushes Christians aside on purpose.

Didn't offend me at all. You are being a complete and total idiot.
Explain what is so idiotic about showing a story about Jesus Christ on Easter week , as was done in the past. Be an adult about your response. I really don't see what's so idiotic.

Just a tip CRB don't talk about Jesus it riles up the atheists, ANTIFAS , and socialists of the board. Celebrate Holy Week without these clowns.

I consider Jesus of Nazareth to be the best movie about Christ. But you have to remember that it’s six hours and twenty-two minutes long. You’re not going to see this on network TV like The Ten Commandments. The BluRay version is $13.93 on Amazon.

Not to mention that it is a really good movie and no I'm not offended by it. This on the other hand, yes, I have issues with. It wasn't needed.
" like Hollywood pushes Christians aside on purpose."
Its straight from the wacko board on the old site.

Perspective is a funny thing. I watched the Bible miniseries on History when it came out. I thought it was a very good education piece about the bible. Then I was at a Passover Seder and was surprised at some of the responses to the program.

Coming from two different perspectives proved to have two very different opinions of the piece.

Watching the 10 Commandments on network tv with commercials, for 4 hours 44 minutes, is like crossing the desert for 40 years.....using a DVR and fast forwarding through the commercials, is like hopping in the Range Rover with the kids for the dessert journey!
