We've certainly improved the roster. The transfer portal was a real roster plugger at some positions of need. H. S. recruiting is trending in a positive direction. We absolutely need to get the top players out of our state. That led to a lot of Spurrier's success. What we have always lacked is consistency. Over the years our history has been hire a new coach. Lots of buzz for the first 2-3 years then things fall off, especially recruiting. We need to keep it up for 7-10 years, which we have failed to do.

Dabo's 2nd class (full recruiting cycle) was a Top10 class. I don't think we will have a Top 10 class. But, I believe that Top 20 is realistically possible this year. Top 20 would not be something to complain about.
I hate to say this, but you have to believe that as this thing progresses, unless you are close to the top 10 in NIL, it will be difficult to be in the top 10 recruiting wise.
Yes. I recently posted that I do not ever expect us to ever win the SEC, certainly not the national championship. My expectation and hope for South Carolina football is to be a consistent Top 20 program. Thus, Top 20, not necessarily Top 10 recruiting classes is my expectation and hope. Superior coaching might get us a dream season, making a quality coaching staff throughout the staff, a MUST.
Not sure of its accuracy, but the 0N3 recruiting rankings list the average NIL for teams. It's interesting to see.
Just having Rhames and Anderson commit to us was an awesome achievement by Beamer & Staff. Adding Shivers to the group was simply icing on the cake!

We are close to what I feel is a minimum in 2 of the 3 services. Rivals is an outlier.

Well you never know, If the CFP expands to 16 teams, having such a tough schedule won`t necessarily be a prohibitive factor, as I`m betting some teams with 3 losses would make it in. If you get into the playoffs, as with other sports, anything could happen.
