The Alan Parsons Project (shout out to my fellow AARP-eligible dawgs) gave me hope.

After the Ark game, the coaching staff certainly had to realize Wright was the wrong answer, especially since Officer Barbrady wanted to keep throwing the ball. If Parson has looked good in practice, why not yank the redshirt off and start him at Auburn? Was he hurt? It makes no sense.

In this day of the portal/NIL, I don't know if redshirts make sense.

He can play four games and still red shirt. Unless I missed it last night was the first of the four meaning he can play the last three games.

I think you're right on the four games, but I wish we'd started him at Auburn and this game, would have burned his redshirt, but likely given us a better chance to win.

It makes no sense to red shirt a great player in these times. If it’s someone that needs help developing I can see it but if it is a great athlete that’s going to be tempted via NIL play them.
