cancer.

I remember he was a big bruising player.

3 friends (one a PSU buddy) have developed cancer in the last couple of years before the age of 50 and a friend from grade school just passed from cancer last year at 48.

Lost my mom to cancer 2 years ago as well. Dad had prostate cancer, but it was caught early and hasn't come back.

I was living in the Duke angle of the triangle 90-93, and he never failed to impress.

Sorry to hear this… far too young, I remember he had a short stint with the 76ers…

This is tough for us locally. He was well known and seen often around town due to his job announcing games plus his kids played in various sports leagues. Very sociable guy who gave a lot of time to charities, including cancer research and his own summer camp. Tragic loss for an entire community and his family at this time of year
