Wow, that's tough to hear. He has to be one of the most underrated great coaches. Never was able to win a super bowl but had dominant teams most of the time. RIP Bud.

I remember seeing him in the old Gander Mountain or Cabelas catalog, modeling hunting clothes. Saw an interview years ago and he was a big time outdoorsman.

He earned 9 letters at Univ of Minn. If it was PJ Flecks version of horse he could have spelt r-o-w t-h-e b-o-a. Was drafted by the Eagles and the Minneapolis Lakers. Got an NBA championship ring. Had over 50 receptions in a season for the Birds.
