Now that the Wardlaw and PJ crew left, it is horrid. I bit on the BDJ lifetime sub when MW said he was moving to Rivals. The player database always intrigued me.<div>I know most people are sick of MW, but he has a few decent connections and from time to time would deliver some good information. We all know Paul is great.</div><div>BUT the current roster at Rivals is pathetic. They continuously link old videos and try to pass it off as new. When actually do interviews, they are generic as 17..."How did you feel about your visit? What are you working on in practice? Who is your favorite coach? If you were a hotdog, would you eat yourself? etc, etc, etc"</div><div>I swear, it feels like they take Paul's daily notes and rehash them. Plus, they don't even seem to care to stimulateconversationson the forums.</div><div>
</div><div>Am I the only person that likes gettingopinionsfrom these services? I hate the fact they never go out on a limb. Dooshbag or not, at least Rosebowl generates some interest. The Rivals staff is just dry.</div><div>
</div><div>For the fans sake, its a shame Yahoo! couldn't work out a deal with MW and Paul. Now the information is so fragmented, its hard to justify paying for it. I currently have a sub to every site except the Lake.</div><div>
</div><div>Question, aside from the tools on the forums, does the Lake atleast deliver good information? Are they the most "tied in" site?</div>

I can't handle the Lake. I have a free account there that has under 100 posts in 8 years of holding the account. I'll read the free board every few months, and I'm left dumbfounded at some of the threads and replies.

"MAROON!!! WHIIIITE!!!!" threads and prayer requests on the free board. I know jokes are made about it all the time over here, but when you are paying money, it gets a little ridiculous when you don't get anything for it (I had a subscription for a while, but just got tired of it). Plus, the information generally makes its way over here... plus there is free chat.

I think Logan and kturner make up at least 50% of the posts. Most of the threads don't even getone singlereply. I've got 1 year free there so guess I'll check in as it gets closer to signing day and maybe during baseball season (Logan seems to do a good job with baseball coverage). But since Paul left it really died off, and now that the new BDJ started up that appears to taken away the rest of us stragglers.

I'll never pay for scout just based on what I've heard, and I probably will never pay for 247. Only reason I joined BDJ was becasue it appeared to be a great deal at the time. That really left a bad taste in my mouth so I'll just stick with this board and whatever comes of the new BDJ (which at this point appears to be doing better than Rivals... although Idon't think MW has access to players because I've seen no interviews with anyone other than coaches & recruits).
