The SF punter got hurt so Gould took over and did a heck of a job for the 49ers as they come back from a 17-0 deficit to beat the Rams in a really good football game to watch.
And the punter was his holder for Xtra pts and field goals. So the fullback steps in to hold and no problem for Robbie.

I read that Gould is the last NFL player who played for Paterno still playing. Seems like that would be correct.

Maybe a technicality, but Donovan Smith was a freshman in 2011 (being redshirted), and is still in the League with Tampa. So, he was on the team under Joe, but did not really play.
