I find it hard to believe he’s 6’ 230lbs. He looks big. Either he’s 5’11” 235 or playing at 240 or something. Are there ever updates on player height and weight?

You’re probably right. Lattimore was a stud. I over reacted on that comment.
I think Sanders has physical talent on the same order as Lattimore. Obviously Lattimore played parts of 3 seasons for us, was a folk hero in more than 1 game, and was a more featured part of the offense.

But I see where @Hoganman1 was going there.

I think Lattimore had better OL play. But Sanders’ contribution to this offense this season has been close to Lattimore-like.

We. Are. Going. To. Miss. Him next season!! I don’t think we have another back in the RB room to come close.

I couldn't agree more about Lattimore having better offensive line play. Both of Spurrier's first line coaches, offense and defense, were duds, and he had to fix those. The Lattimore & Clowney teams benefited from those upgrades. We all did.

I will forever remember Sanders for his not-to-be-denied catch and run that scored the game winner against Missouri. He's a great back and exactly what we needed this year.

But it's a disservice to him to compare him to Lattimore.

Yes, they update it from time to time but you must not be familiar with why those stats are made that way......

The point is for opposing teams to look at it and go "Oh my God, he's 8 feet tall and shoots flaming rockets out his butt."

It's all BS for the most part. Vaguely accurate at best. Same with Basketball height / weight. ;)

I get they may get an inch and five pounds or something but I would say they are fairly accurate for the most part. It’s not gonna be a 3 inch thirty pound difference.

I would say if anything they do these for a small wide receiver that they don’t want to list at 155. Everyone on the defense is every bit of what they are listed at.

I will remember this past week, where he couldn't put weight on his left foot and then he was in there the final drive. He gained the yardage needed for the first down. That guy is a NFL running back. Big TD runs in three straight SEC games (Texas A&M, Vandy, and Mizzou), 6 TD's total.

Really enjoyed watching him and a shame it’s only for 1 season. Also thought Adaway had a good game at the weekend
Adaway was a really nice change of pace this weekend. Looked good in his role and lowered his shoulder on one of his big runs.

It looks like we’re going to have to replace a lot of talent on both offense, defense and special teams. I’m anxious to see who goes in the portal from other teams. Hopefully we can find some transfers to complement the 2025 recruits. We should have an easier task getting players than we did last year. Unfortunately players like Sanders don’t grow on trees.

Rocket is a special talent. Not to really continue to comparison because he's a different sort of back than Marcus. Marcus had that pad level and vision to get two or three yards when there was nothing but a tunnel at the line of scrimmage to go through. Just a rare talent especially for that.

I agree that Sanders has an NFL future. I think the weight room, training table, health care, and most of all the coaching are going to be highly evident after a while. Look at Rico Dowdle now at Dallas. Looks like a different guy. I think Sanders has a mental toughness and a will that will serve him very well at the next level.

I don’t know that Marcus benefitted from better line play. Marcus had to break a lot of tackles behind the LOS. He had uncanny vision and hit the hole faster than Sanders. Marcus did benefit from a stronger perimeter players. Some really good WRs and TEs.

Sanders has been a huge plus this year. When that dude hits the hole, he’ll gain yards even if there is none there. The only thing about him is his tip toeing to the LOS. He did that some Saturday, and then it looked like he got pissed and ran angry. Was downhill as soon as he touched the ball.

What ever size he is; we have to figure out a way to replace him next year. He is a major reason we are 9 and 3. Although he only played one season for us, I put him right up there with Lattimore.
I agree he is part of the reason we are 9-3, but there was just something about Latt. 21 freshman year was special, I wish we could find another back like him. It felt like the college football world stood still when he got hurt the second time.

Arguably, a generational talent; hate it
ended so quickly. To cheer us both up,
we have pretty good speed on Offense.

LS will be better at passing and running the offense next season so we might get by with slightly less talent at running back?

I think J. Howell will be in the rotation and be sort of like Adaway was this season. I’ve been high on the Fuller kid and think he could become the feature back with a good offseason in the weight room, especially transitioning into his sophomore year. Still though, I think they grab someone in the portal that will at the least, be a rotational type player.
