The warrant states that the victim eventually got away and pulled a fire alarm, which led to the arrival of police and fire personnel. She was treated for injuries the warrant described as not life-threatening. Both warrants state officers read Watkins her rights, and she confessed -- though the warrants don't reveal what she said. They also state that the incident was captured on video surveillance cameras.
Watkins' attorney, Todd Rutherford, told News19 Saturday night that he and his client are asking for the public's patience.
“We believe once everybody has a full grasp of what happened, this will end up being a misunderstanding," Rutherford said. "What we know for certain is that Ashlyn did not assault anyone and she did not kidnap anyone."

All I am going to say is wait until all the information about this comes out. Just think about the Duke men's lacrosse team several years ago. The african american people along with Jesse Jackson made all these false things about the Duke Lacrosse team. Well thank goodness the parents of the players who got falsely accused had the financial resources to hire a good law firm. The DA was using this to get elected. When the dust settled the DA lost his job and had to go to jail. I don't know anything about the case or the individuals involved, but let the legal system play out and then go from there.
