Saints - do they even consider keeping Rizzi?

Reading the twitter world at lunch - it appears that is being somewhat discussed.

What a short sighted decision that would be? Worse than hiring Arnett b/c we had other circumstances.

If the guy is already clogging the sh!tter, then surely Loomis isn't that stupid.

It’s the problem with firing a coach and moving to an interim, especially when you do it with half the season left. Feels like the raiders have done this song and dance for years now. Fire a coach, let the interim get momentum and then hire the interim full time. It’s why I wouldn’t fire a coach until there was only 2 or 3 games left.

With all that said, Rizzi is a respected guy who’s been considered for other head coaching jobs. I do believe he knows football and can command the respect of the locker room but it would be a mistake to hire him without running a full process.

I think the 2-0 start under Rizzie says more about Dennis Allen than it does Rizzi.
Feels like you need to start fresh.
New coaching staff, new training staff (what's with all the soft tissue injuries?), and it needs to all start with a new GM.
Mickey's salary cap can-kicking song dance, his insistence on keeping Dennis Allen after last year, and then his pissiness about Benson insisting that Allen be fired mid-season makes me not trust him with the big decisions anymore.

Plus Dan Campbell was IN THE FREAKING BUILDING when Payton left. I know he was an unknown commodity... but Dennis Allen was a known commodity...and what was known wasn't good. But Loomis insisted on trying to keep the band together after Payton resigned and the guy with a (now) 26-53 record does exactly what you'd expect a guy with a 26-53 record to do.

Those that know the cap, is there any way Dak ends up with New Orleans? I've seen rumors that Jerry wants to sign Deion and his son. Personally, Dak on the Saints would be awesome for me. I wouldn't have to cheer for the Cowboys and the Saints would be quarterbacked by a Bulldog. Pipe dream I'm sure, but thought I would try and speak it into existence.

Rizzi’s 2-0 start has more to do with some guys getting healthy like Carr and Taysom and the schedule…which does set up for a few more possible wins.

Could he be the scapegoat to get the Saints through salary cap hell and out the other side, and then make a change to the new person who has draft picks and cap space to rebuild
