Going to be near impossible to enforce, right? Instead of being so obvious, Kiffen will send in a 2nd or 3rd teamer and be "injured" and taken off the field on a stretcher. The penalty must be more severe and quicker than what is proposed.

17 that clown.
If its allowed per the NCAA rules, a coach should be able to do it.
Yes its a weak move. Yes its annoying. But if Sankey wants it out of the game, then have the NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel change the 17ing rules.

Players will be instructed to stay on the ground after a big play. That’s typically when fast tempo happens.

Apparently, Sankey has at least an elementary understanding of what leadership is. You’d run and tell your boss and then shrug your shoulders. At least you’re honest!

17 off with trying to apply my comment back to me.

- NCAA rules govern NCAA games.
- If Sankey wants NCAA rules to change, he should go to the NCAA and have the rules changed.
- Its 17ing stupid to penalize SEC programs/coaches for following NCAA rules in a game.
- Its 17ing stupid to not let SEC programs play by the rules while their opponents(non-conference) are able to play be the rules.

If Sankey wants to lead, then he can work to get others behind him and push for the NCAA to change the rules. Thats leadership.

I like it. Not sure how effective it will be and no doubt it only matters in conference games and he won't apply it otherwise. And of course this is noticed by the NCAA and as usual they will act now that the SEC has acted. Pretty sure it's mostly an OM issue anyway.

Has the NCAA taken a stand either way?

I love how all the GameDay commentators talked about this and said "its not just olemiss, everybody does it" but they all know that just 1 school is to blame because it's 10x per game for 3 years

I’ve never really believed you were a troll until this post…. I think you went too far trying to take the opinion that would definitely be against the majority of the board.

In the extreme off chance you were being serious, what sankey did was for the sec it does not impact anyone else, so why would he take this to the rules oversight panel? Guarantee others will follow his lead here, assuming other conferences are having this issue. In 2022, the ncaa did create a position to review fake injuries, if requested. The punishment, assuming there would be any, was left to each conference.

How I know you didn’t read the memo. It clearly refers to the NCAA rules & says the NCAA will determine if a fake injury occurred. That said, I’ll believe anything is done when I see it.

Ole Miss is the worst offender, but they aren't the only one by a long shot.
