We've known for some time we weren't gonna get this girl, despite some significant connections to her. It only means one thing: she's not the kind who wants to work her way up.

I am familiar enough with her people to know that isn’t true. We were competing with some good programs with very good academic reputations for her. She decided to not pick us. We move on with Edwards, McDaniel, and Tac.

Yes, we were competing with a couple of schools with very good academic reputations and UCONN. She chose UCONN.
I maintained she would never play at the same school as Edwards. I wasn't wrong.
I was with you from the beginning, that we get Edwards OR Strong but not both. I got hoping when she came to our home game.
Frankly I think UConn is a better fit for her. First off they really need her and Geno’s scheme is probably more tailored to her specific gifts than ours.
