KC always fun to watch. I feel badly for David Carr, benched. A good player, good guy.

KC will be motivated; I hope we can figure out exactly what’s what with the impact of the cancelled game.

If I’m Green Bay and moving on from Aaron Rodgers, I’d seriously pursue David Carr. Saying this from a football, leadership and character standpoint. No clue about the $ and how that would/could work.

@LionJim - how would you feel about him starting for your team?

Carr is a lot better than 8-10 starting QBs right now. Washington, NYG, Hou, NO, Mia, Atl, Car and others would be lucky to have him.

Agree on every one of those, minus Miami. I don’t think they will/can give up on Tua yet. At one point, granted it was early in the season, he was playing at an MVP caliber, according to some. But Carr would be ideal for most teams to step in and be a huge upgrade.

I dunno about Carr. Jacobs has going on 1700 yards rushing and you would think a quarterback like Carr would thrive in such a situation. I’m not sure about how good the LVR WRs are; I don’t know how they factor into the equation. Washington has a top-notch WR corps, and run the ball well; one would think that Carr could thrive here. Still, he’s a reject.

I’d bail on Tua. The concussions, they’re going to keep coming.

KC 24-3 LVR at the half. It’s my understanding that a KC win would result in a less complicated playoff picture than if they’d lost, in terms of the impact of the cancelled Buffalo-Cincinnati game.

Bingo. Tua’s story will reach a sad conclusion where he just won’t be able to play due to injuries, IMO.

The time for Miami is now and getting a proven passer in that offense is the smartest thing they can do for 2023.

Wow, that’s a hard decision to make.

You have to worry about Pickett, too.

Tennessee-Jacksonville is win-and-in for both teams.

Firing their GM was a temporary distraction from Vrabel. You lose your last 7 as a head coach to drop to 7-10 and lose your division and you’re in trouble.
As a Nashville native, but not a Titans fan, I hear a lot of sports radio. Sounds like Vrabel wants to be BOB and be coach/GM. But the Titans are a mess. Tannehill isn’t getting younger and probably hit his ceiling 2 years ago, Henry has a lot of miles on the legs with injury history. Oline is a disaster. Salary cap issues. No WR group. Just a mess.

I believe they’ll keep Vrabel but he won’t be long for the job. The Titans are heading the wrong way, and Vrabel won’t be around through a rebuild. Him becoming GM as well as HC will expedite him leaving, IMO.

At the beginning of this year I went on record as saying Henry was done, worked into the ground. He ended up having a great year, 1500 yards and 4.4 ypc. Still, a lot of miles on his legs, 349 carries this year, 20 carries per game.
