You honestly couldn't have written a script any better than the 4 teams they got when it comes to national eyeballs on the games. If they could have Michigan and USC maybe. Those are the teams that traditionally have gotten the national rankings at the expense of "those Southern schools" before they actually had to play "those Southern schools." Maybe they are all back to legit status. I know Ohio State looked near unbeatable the other night. The SEC has dominated for a while. They will be back.

Well, in black and white, Herbstreit pretty much straight up says our “small little southern schools” are not what the networks want in the college playoffs. Do tell! Lol.

Yes, they did but they've lost 2 games this year so they're beatable. I expect the SEC (Alabama, Georgia, now Texas) to be dominating the Big 10 and everybody else once again very soon, maybe next year.

Herbstreit has never been able to hide his biases, mostly for Ohio State.

The guy said ratings have been good, despite the southern teams all losing their first games, with Texas being the exception.

One of his kids goes to or went to Clemson. I doubt he is hating on Clemson just because the program was mentioned.

For me first, I think it’s critical for me to actually give a 17 what HerbStreet says.

I find his comments are along the lines of McAfee’s — pablum for the masses. McAfee is much more entertaining and HerbStreet sounds like an Ole Miss grad - irrelevant yet somehow important
