Checked some of the opening betting odds for next weekend vs Missouri. I expected us to be favored by 5-6. Nope. We are favored by 13-14 points. Wow.

Beamer is rolling. He will have the team ready and we will steamroll Missouri then Wofford.

We are going to Clemson 8-3 and probably ranked in the top 15

If I bet off the past ( i don't bet at all)
I'd bet everything I own on Missouri.
It would take 10 years of therapy twice a week before I could become positive about any upcoming game.

Looks like a big number but obviously Vegas likes what we're doing right now. If we play at the same level of the last three weeks, we will roll them.

Can't revert back to the penalty and turnover riddled team of a month or so ago.

Vegas likely thinks that South Carolina has a big advantage in the trenches and playing at home Wish it was a night game

We haven’t beaten Mizzouri in the last 5 years and never beaten Drinkwitz (0-1 vs App State). Although I know we can, I won’t be comfortable until the game is over and we have more points on Saturday.

Missouri showing once again to be frauds when it comes to being a top-level team. But it never matters what Missouri is or isn’t, Gamecocks love having a no show against them. If the SC of the last two weeks shows up they’ll win by 3 scores. But if we get the par for the course Missou performance it will be 6 losses in a row.

This is what I was afraid of. We've seen it before. We are slow to gain respect in the polls and such, and then we finally get some respect, we get overrated then we crash and the narrative is "see, they didn't deserve the ranking."

Just hope the team can tune out the noise, both good and bad and focus on the task at hand.

Beamer looked very serious in the Vandy game. Especially early. He will be very serious in preparation and making sure our players know the importance of this game. Have fun after winning.

Im tempted to put like $500 on Missouri, then its a win/win. If we win, and lock in an 8 win season, losing $500 wont even dampen my mood. But if we choke, and I put $500 on a 14 pt underdog, well, thats gonaa be a nice consolation

I rarely feel good about any game, but this defense is ******* fierce! I think Beamer also understands he needs this game to keep climbing. So I’m buying what Vegas is selling

So now is their starting QB and center out?

For sure the center is out.

Missouri football looks like it will be down a key and longtime piece along its offensive line.

Mizzou center Connor Tollison will miss the remainder of the Tigers’ season due to a knee injury, per a report from ESPN college football writer Pete Thamel. Tollison left the field in the second half of MU’s win Saturday over Oklahoma on Faurot Field and did not return to the game.

A Missouri team spokesperson did not confirm the news to the Tribune. Mizzou head coach Eli Drinkwitz will meet with the media Tuesday, and likely will address the reports then.

Tollison has started 34 straight games for Mizzou since winning the job as a redshirt freshman in 2021. The Jackson, Missouri, native has played 582 snaps this season, per PFF College, which ranks third-most among all MU players.

The line really hasn't shifted much. I guess that mean bettors like us at -14?
