The question begs asking again in light of our roster openings... If he's good enough for UConn to offer, why not us? I don't know much about him other than this: Link

Did Stansbury not have a chance against Calhoun or did Stansbury even bother knowing he had his Hopson?

I do know alot about him, played against him in AAU and High school. He is definantly a shooter with size and quickness, but for now at UcONn he will be nothing more than a selective role player. Here, I dont know.. Shaunessy Smith ( a junior) from Noxubee County is a better pick ( for next season).

he is a good player, and could be a solid role player in college. i think he will struggle to create his own shot, but he can knock it down if left open or curling off a screen.

i wasn't worried about missing out on him, because we had a stable of stewart, hans, ravern, and turner as role playing guards. without hans, i would like to have someone who is a more consistent shooter available on the bench, and haralson would certainly fill that void. the uconn offer is a little misleading - his other offers were ga state (rod barnes), uno and auburn. he's not the high-profile uconn signee you'd expect. i don't think we'd be wasting a scholly if we signed him, i would welcome what he'd bring to the table. i hope that we're keeping an eye on the freshmen and sophs in jackson, and making sure we'll have the right number of schollies for them. there's some BIG time talent coming up.

i wouldn't be surprised if we went juco to fill the void, maybe a big man, a la ignerski/vincent. someone who would only be here 2 years. </p>
