Feels like a geographical Goldielocks situation in landing him, since 99 percent of dudes in the portal wouldn't step into a situation in which they have zero chance to up their carries.
This is the type of acquisition often dismissed by the average fan. Considering the risk of injury, this is a big signing. Big 10 experience as a back up and a starter....allows staff the flexibility to continue to use Singleton in the return game......an experienced back in pass protection. Despite what some may think, there could be plenty of carries especially in non conference games and as the season takes its toll on RBs.
No down side to this … if you see one go have your eyes checked

Seems to me he is at least as good as the backs who Transferred out & has little expectations other than 'coming home' to finish out his career.
He has BIG experience, has been a starter, will surely get reps late in games or to give the 2 studs a rest.
