I’m really happy we picked this kid up, but on another note the portal is just decimating the MAC schools. The new normal I guess.
You're right and that stinks for them. I know Penn State has been much less active in the portal than other schools, but the portal continues to hurt many G5 schools and the depth of some Power 5 schools. If it went away tomorrow I would be content.

This thing had been gathering dust for a month, hence the outdated intro. With news breaking we said eff it and posted it. lol. Exciting addition.

Who is the guy speaking in the video? He doesn't speak very clearly.

Search On3 Dante Cephus.
6'1" and 175# - not big body and not really blazing speed, but 1st team MAC for two years and a lot of results on the field. good route runner and getting open.

it will be interesting how he compares to some of our current roster. Tinsley was more clear gap filler for 2022. If you are recruiting 4* WR's they should start to impact by at least their second year.

I think this puts us at 11 WR's - although Cephas would not be mid-year entry.

Check out what he did against Maryland last season.

Ten catches for 151 yards and a TD.
impressive results. I think UGA kept him in check, but they did that to a lot of people. otherwise, most of his games got results.

since he is staying at Kent to graduate, hope nothing goes wrong. I was thinking the players who announce transfers actually sign LOI's. The Carter thing was really wild. He commits, and sets up to enroll in classes for spring. Then announces he is "flipping" to WVU (low end BIG 12) for no apparent reason and a team with unknown situation. I didn't even know you could "flip" after committing. Last year, Hunter Nourzad committed before spring semester, finished his Cornell degree in spring and then came to PSU. I assumed once he made his commitment that it was done deal. does that mean PSU can try to flip transfer portal players who made commitments, but are not enrolling till June?

At the 25 second mark, he successfully runs a corner fade, just saying…
