I'm really going to enjoy watching how this plays out. Here we are in the middle of a Presidential switch as well as an AD switch. No one really knows just who's on first.
My guess is that Doc will put Greg into the AD position on his way out the door and Greg will be the one making the hiring decision. He already knows who he wants to name, or at least has a very short list to work from (that was a part of the book he prepared for his interview with Doc). Just on the basis of equity it wouldn't be right to saddle Greg with a new coach he'll have to work with if he didn't hire the guy.
