To be clear, this is just for baseball.
State draws Ole Miss and LSU every year. Will rotate the other 13 teams.
Toughest possible competition. Best possible gameday atmospheres. If we cant handle it, we aren't who we say we are.
I will take it since we have had better regular season success against Northern Miss and LSU than say Vandy and Arkansas.

Its pretty clear that they just made all these groupings to minimize overall travel requirements / costs for a non-revenue sport.
Pretty much every school is paired with 2 of the top 3 or 4 schools in geographic proximity.
