I think you will see a scheduling alliance with the B10They are keeping the P4 non-conference game requirement as well.
Seems like ESPN would prefer an alliance between the SEC & ACCI think you will see a scheduling alliance with the B10
Alabama will get Auburn and Tennessee as two of their permanents. The third permanent will be one of the traditionally weaker opponents maybe it will be Vandy. No Alabama No Alabama No Alabama No Alabama No Alabama No Alabama No Alabama No Alabama No Alabama No Alabama
Oh I’m sure we will keep OM…. But i put the chances of Bama and Georgia as high****Good. Time to bring on Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Kentucky as our permanent rivals, and rotate 6 of the other 12.
Georgia should get Tennessee, Auburn, & Florida if tradition matters.Oh I’m sure we will keep OM…. But i put the chances of Bama and Georgia as high****
Alabama is locked into Tennessee and Auburn and the networks will probably insist on LSU as their 3rd.Oh I’m sure we will keep OM…. But i put the chances of Bama and Georgia as high****
Um will definitely get LSU.Our perm opponents: UGA, UT Austin, OM
OM's perm opponents: Vandy, Ark (or UK), us.
Georgia doesn't want us. They have "less prestigious" program right next door in South Carolina, and they're a solid lock for Florida and Auburn as their other 2. If South Carolina doesn't work for whatever reason, there's always Vanderbilt or Kentucky. Our perm opponents: UGA, UT Austin, OM
OM's perm opponents: Vandy, Ark (or UK), us.
Alabama doesn't want us. There's a 100% chance they get Auburn and Tennessee, and if LSU doesn't work out for whatever reason, the networks will want to match them with another big name like Texas or Oklahoma. My bet for us: A&M UM, and Bama.
this guarantees &tate long term viability in the SEC. Basically they get to slip in a D2/D3 team in playing us that counts as SEC Power 4.This is terrible news for us.
I was being facetious, but we'll get screwed.Um will definitely get LSU.
Good tp hear. That was my concern while they've been kicking it around. Keeps things more national and interesting for me. Guess it helped square things up with those that have the ACC games. They are keeping the P4 non-conference game requirement as well.
100% we're getting Bama, you can take that to the bank.My bet for us: A&M UM, and Bama.
Hopefully we'll get UK back, but an every other year trip to Nashville would be great. Is it too late to start a tradition with Vandy?
LSU vs Bama is a big time game. If ESPN has any say that rivalry will go on too......SomehowAlabama will get Auburn and Tennessee as two of their permanents. The third permanent will be one of the traditionally weaker opponents maybe it will be Vandy.
We’ve beaten A&M a fair amount and gotten skill drug by Bama. I know on paper A&M is a sleeping giant, but I also hope their culture is too 17ed up to ever pull it togetherI'm ok with OM and UK. However I hate playing aTm. It's not an interesting game ever, at least to me.
State v Bama is one of the longest running "rivalry" in conference history. We should play them.
Even if we don't, the sec will give us UGA or Texas or Florida. So may as well play Bama.
Me, the traveling fan: Cool. Our perm opponents: UGA, UT Austin, OM
