SEC pitching

Lot's of preseason hype for Fla, Tenn. and Vandy and to me the only one living up to it is Vandy in the teams we've seen and that is questionable. We lost the Vandy series due to some poor defense. SC pitching has been surprising and has #2 ERA national ranking behind Wake Forest. Tennessee is 3rd, Vandy is 21st and FLA is not in top 50. Tennessee match up could be a really good one.

Not to hijack your thread Preston, but what about Veach WoW, I've been watching all year and I did not see this coming he's turned into a monster, reminds me of Blake Cooper a little bit, just an absolute bulldog! I love how he can get in a little jam and just it just doesn't faze him, pretty chill! Aaron Fitts said it's one of the best change ups in the country.

I certainly wouldnt want to see us go up against him. Wish we could have full diet of aces tho. We seem to like them.

Agree. Entire staff has been impressive. Time off seems to have helped Sanders. Becker looked great on Saturday.
Florida staff did not impress me at all. TN staff is right behind us at #3 ERA, so that series will be very interesting.
But taking them one game at a time starting with Auburn.

Tennessee is really good at home, and pretty mediocre on the road. That series will be interesting...and we are fortunate to have it at Founders.

Yep, that’s going to be a good one, watched a good bit of their vandy series and when they get rolling they get real cocky, going to be fun to see how we match their intensity!
