SEC Scheduling: UGA vs MSU Series

This will only be the 26th time MSU and UGA have played football even though we are both charter members of the SEC since 1932. UGA is the second to least played series of the charter members (probably a good thing), with Vandy being the least played rival for MSU (24 times). Of course, MSU's most played series are UM, LSU and Bama. This is UGA's first trip to Starkville since 2010, and 7th overall. They have played in Jackson 3 times, Athens 14 times and Atlanta 2 times. UGA leads the series 19-6, with MSU's last winning coming during UGA's last trip to Starkville, 2010.

Yes. Result of changing the model when adding A&M and Mizzou, plus 2020 covid year.

Texas A&M has still not hosted UGA or visited UK since joining the SEC. Cannot wait for 2025 and better scheduling (I hope).
