Just tried to sign in using my Roku so I could watch things on SECN+. In the past, merely having ESPN/SECN access through a provider was sufficient (I have both on Dish).

Now, after going to espn.com/activate and inputting the code, they require you to sign up for a Disney account.

Is that other's experience? I have no interesting in having a Disney account.

Me either. And yes, that appears to be a change. Might be some type of snaffu, temporarily.

When you pull it up on the app you be sure to pay close attention to whether you are selecting the SECNetwork stream or the ESPN+ stream. Use your Dish credentials on the SECN stream.

Mine worked using Xfinity credentials.
Mine too. And they usually do. But sometimes I just can’t get in that way & have to use the ESPN app on my phone. ESPN streaming just sucks. And I’m different ways on different days. Even finding the game I want to watch within the app is much harder than it should be.
